WSOP satellite

My friends and I are talking about converting one of our normal $50 homegames into a WSOP satellite. There are a bunch of upcoming events in AC, both at Ceasar's and Harrah's...with buyins ranging from $500 to $10K.

Out of our regular 20 players, only 8 committed to playing in a satellite. At $100 a pop that's only enough to send 1 player to a $500 event.

So it looks like we're going to open up the game to others with hopes that we can get 20 players (2 $1000 seats). The game will be on a Saturday in Allentown, but the date is still TBD...we'd like to start early with fairly deep stacks. ITHers Buddy and Elmo said they'd consider playing, but I'm not sure I want to invite sharks the likes of them :). Still, playing in a satellite where you have a decent chance of sending someone you personally know is much better than sending a total stranger via an online qualifier.

Once things get more solidified I'll probably post an open invite on the ITH forums for anyone in the Philly area that's interested. Should be a fun time either way.
